Why this policy exists. Salon Snapshot for GHL helps salons, barbershops, and stylists communicate with their clients through email, SMS/text messages, voice, and AI-assisted messaging powered by GoHighLevel. This policy explains how messaging works, how we obtain your consent, and how you can opt out at any time. It is written to align with the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM, and the A2P 10DLC requirements that govern business text messaging in the United States.

1. Consent — How You Opt In
We only send marketing or transactional messages to people who have given consent. You provide consent when you take an action such as:
- Submitting a form on this website (for example, requesting a demo, booking a consultation, or asking a question).
- Checking a clear opt-in box agreeing to receive SMS and/or email communications.
- Texting a keyword or replying to one of our messages.
- Providing your phone number or email to our team for follow-up.
Consent to receive automated marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. You can still buy our product or contact us without agreeing to marketing messages.
2. Types of Messages We Send
- Transactional: order confirmations, setup updates, appointment or consultation reminders, and replies to your questions.
- Marketing: offers, tips, and updates about Salon Snapshot for GHL — only where you have opted in.
- AI-assisted: some replies may be generated or assisted by an AI agent. You can always ask to speak with a human.
3. Message Frequency & Cost
- Message frequency varies based on your activity and the conversations you start with us.
- Message and data rates may apply — these are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us.
- We do not control carrier delivery, delays, or charges.
4. How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can withdraw your consent and stop messages at any time:
- Text messages: reply STOP to any text to unsubscribe. You may receive a single confirmation that you have been opted out. Reply START to opt back in.
- Help: reply HELP to any text for assistance, or email us at support@salonsnapshotforghl.com.
- Email: click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
After you opt out, we will stop sending marketing messages, though we may still send essential transactional messages where permitted by law.
5. A2P 10DLC Compliance
Business text messaging in the United States is governed by Application-to-Person 10-Digit Long Code (A2P 10DLC) rules established by mobile carriers. To send compliant messages we (and salons using our snapshot through their own accounts) are expected to:
- Register the brand and messaging campaign with the carrier registry.
- Maintain clear, documented opt-in consent for every recipient.
- Honor opt-out keywords (STOP) immediately and automatically.
- Avoid prohibited content categories (such as illegal goods, or other content restricted by carrier policy).
- Include clear sender identification in messages.
If you operate your own salon's messaging through a GoHighLevel account that uses our snapshot, you are responsible for completing your own A2P 10DLC registration and for the consent of the contacts you message.
6. TCPA & Your Phone Number
We use your phone number only for the purposes you consented to. We do not sell or rent your phone number to third parties. Consent to receive autodialed or pre-recorded marketing messages, where applicable, is given freely and may be revoked at any time as described in Section 4.
7. Email Messaging (CAN-SPAM)
- Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link and our contact information.
- We honor unsubscribe requests promptly.
- We do not use deceptive subject lines or false header information.
8. Data & Privacy
The contact information you share with us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share your mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing.
9. Not Affiliated With Carriers or Platforms
Salon Snapshot for GHL is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by HighLevel Inc., any mobile carrier, Meta, Google, or any booking platform (such as Vagaro, Fresha, or GlossGenius). Messaging is delivered through GoHighLevel and underlying carrier networks, which are subject to their own terms.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this SMS & Messaging Policy as messaging rules or our practices change. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
